Compare PowerPoint Files Online

Find what changed between two versions of a presentation. DiffNow extracts the text of both presentations and shows them side by side, with changed lines, words, and characters highlighted. For PPTX files, each slide is labeled with its number and title, so you can see which slides changed.

How to use it

  1. Click Upload First File and Upload Second File, and pick the two PowerPoint files (PPTX or PPT).
  2. Click Compare to see both presentations side by side with the differences highlighted.
  3. Use Share to send a link to the comparison, or download it as an HTML report.

Questions

Does DiffNow show changes to images, animations, or design?

No. DiffNow compares the text of the slides, including tables and lists. Changes to pictures, animations, transitions, or slide design alone are not shown.

Do I need PowerPoint?

No. Everything runs in your browser and on the DiffNow server; you don't need PowerPoint or any other software.

Can I compare presentations on my own computer?
